Dave joined Ladd, McCall & Associates in June 2008. He provides tax planning,
compliance and research services for corporations, partnerships, estates, and individuals.
Dave started his professional career at IBM developing printer software. He also had many different assignments as an IBM technical marketing specialist in retail
banking. In addition to his tax work, Dave has experience
in accounting, financial planning including retirement, and management consulting. Other responsibilities
include handling the information technology network as well as implementing new processes such as greatly reducing
paper copies and records to make the firm more efficient.
Licensed as a CPA in North Carolina, Dave received a Master of Accountancy degree in 2007 and a Master of Business Administration in 1990 from the University of North
Carolina at Charlotte. He graduated from Purdue University with highest distinction while
earning a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering degree.
Dave is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the North Carolina Association of CPAs.
He lives in the Mallard Creek area of Charlotte with his wife, Nancy, and their two daughters, Cayce
and Haley. They attend and serve Mecklenburg Community Church. He enjoys sports, outdoor activities, and music.
