Barbara is the senior partner in charge of the Cornelius office of Ladd, McCall and Associates, CPAs, PA. She has managed the Cornelius office since its inception in 1995. She is a graduate of UNC-Charlotte, Cum Laude with a Bachelors of Science in Accounting – 1994, where as a member of the Arthur Anderson Tax Challenge team, the team placed second in the nation in 1994. Barbara’s memberships include the NC Association of CPAs, the American Institute of CPAs, the Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce, Visit Lake Norman, and the North Mecklenburg Rotary Club.

She and her staff work closely with clients to educate them in tax, software, accounting and regulatory matters. The team is dedicated to providing innovative ideas and solutions to meet client needs with wealth protection and maximization as a primary focus.

During the past 17 years, Barbara has focused on small businesses leading her clients through the complexities of starting a business and assisting clients with the Federal, State and Local regulatory processes. With a long history in the construction industry, Barbara also works closely with contractors in the areas of license audits, job costing and taxation. An equal emphasis is given to individuals through financial and income tax planning. Barbara works closely with clients and local attorneys in the matters of estate planning and taxation and the tax aspects of divorce.

Barbara is dedicated to the growth of Ladd, McCall & Associates and the Lake Norman area by providing staff training and leadership to the Ladd, McCall & Associates professional team as well as involvement in the community.
